Jul17 Saturday, July 17, 2010 by RangeLog Admin is currently finishing up the development on several new shot log entry types to help our members keep track of personal scores.  We are hoping to have Skeet, Trap & Sporting Clay score cards available to our members by early August 2010.  Once this release is posted, will begin working on the long awaited "reloaders" log.

RangeLog was designed to help shooters track statistics and data around live and dry fire activities.  However, it also serves as a secured way to track serial numbers for each of your firearms, should you need to have it replaced by your insurance company due to a theft or fire.

Members can now associate a "Replacement Value" in the Insurance section of your personal firearm records.  Members can use the notes section to specify any accessories or customizations made to the firearm, and Premium level members can associate photos, which also helps when trying to get reimbursed by your insurance company.  The replacement value is also displayed on the recently posted "Firearms Insurance Report" which can be exported to Adobe PDF or Microsoft Excel.

Jun24 Thursday, June 24, 2010 by RangeLog Admin just released a new feature for Premium & BETA members.  These members will have the ability to add a new entry type for IDPA Scores.  This will allow the member to include all of the scoring data, as well as breaking each stage out with details (split-time, any transitions or other actions, etc.) and the system will then caluclate how fast you are shooting (avg. split time for the entire stage).

Once members have started adding their IDPA scores, they will then be able to pull reports that tell them how they are shooting and also let them know where they could focus to help improve their scores.  This new feature will be added to's mobile site in the near future.

We have launched the initial version of the mobile site.  You should be able to access the web site from any mobile web browser by visiting  Once you have logged in, you will have access to the ranges, firearms and drills in your library.  You are able to add new ranges and firearms, but due to the nature of how we collect drill information (video, etc.) - you won't be able to create new drills via the mobile site.  You are, however, able to search the drill library and add drills to your personal library.

Currently, the QuickLog, Repair and Cleaning log entries are available.  Soon, we will add the multi-string shot log to the mobile site.  In the future, we will also be releasing IDPA, Skeet & Trap match scorecards, that will be available to PREMIUM & BETA members only.
